This just in from the weather underground-

... Winter Storm Watch in effect from late tonight through Monday
afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from late tonight through Monday
afternoon.

The snow will be mixed with rain and sleet at times. Initial snowfall
will likely melt as it contacts the ground. Up to 6 inches of snowfall
is possible by Monday afternoon.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... and/or ice accumulations. Future driving
conditions may become hazardous... so continue to monitor the
latest forecasts.

Kind of figured we may end up with some snow. Thursday we got a little taste. Honestly and don't mean to disappoint the kids on here.
But i hope not. It's hard to work in and traveling becomes a nightmare.

Well Winter Storm watch is now a warning.

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 4 PM EST MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MORRISTOWN HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 4 PM EST MONDAY...FOR SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA AND THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS OF TENNESSEE. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

THE SNOW WILL BE MIXED WITH RAIN AND SLEET AT TIMES. INITIAL SNOWFALL WILL LIKELY MELT AS IT CONTACTS THE GROUND. 3 TO 9 INCHES OF SNOWFALL ARE POSSIBLE BY MONDAY AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY OVER THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW...SLEET... AND/OR FREEZING RAIN ARE EXPECTED...CAUSING HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. TRAVEL IS DISCOURAGED. IF TRAVEL IS UNAVOIDABLE... KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT...FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
